I am sure you are thinking, winter gardening, are you crazy, it is cold out there and there might be snow on the ground. Well, there is all kinds of winter gardening. Especially indoor gardening. You can grow vegetables like lettuce and greens even radishes plus herbs in a window. Forcing bulbs is another great gardening “event” in the winter. It is a wonderful sight to see the rapid changes indoors with your plants.
There is the armchair gardening that occurs in wintertime. That of waiting for the seed catalogs to arrive, making your lists of what you want in your garden, asking and looking for answers to those pesky questions you had last year but just didn’t figure it out, designing your dream garden in vegetables and flowers. There is so much to do before spring gets here that it is a wonder you can get anything else done this winter. So, grab your seed catalogs, something great to drink, and get out your favorite armchair and get to it.
