There is a freeze warning tonight and it is important to protect the tender plants and flowering shrubs you might have in your yard. You can protect them with burlap, sheets or row protectors (which we have – great to have on hand when an emergency strikes.) If you have containers and you can move them, put them in the garage or shed. It will probably be a killing frost especially for flowers. So enjoy those Magnolias and Forsythia, you might not see them after the weekend.
Hope everyone is getting spring fever, I am swimming in it, lots of perennials that are popping up from their winter hibernation. We got the prettiest Heucherella ‘Sweet Tea’ in today, this is a must have for any garden especially one with some shade.
