Roses, spirea, and select other shrubs will be on sale today for 25% off.  Wanted a rose for that someone special this is the sale to do it.  Don’t forget Father’s Day is coming up.

Brand new shipment of perennials arrived yesterday and boy are we stuffed with very cool perennials.  Lots of choices for the sun lovers as well as the shade lovers too.  We got it all and if we don’t, we can get it, within reason (if we can put on an order then we will.)  All special orders must be paid for at time of request.

It rained again last nite, just don’t know how much more the tomatoes can do it.  I might have to move them under cover today.

Today, Oregon arrives in a truck.  The cool evergreens and trees are coming plus lots of hanging baskets from a local Virginia grower.

This week we got in lots of new perennials, annuals, shrubs and trees that we did not have in stock.  We are literally busting at the seams.  Moved Spirea from the greenhouse out into the nursery yard, to let it spread its leaves.  They are blooming and look fabulous at a special price of $19.99.

Hydrangeas are about to run out the door with all the blooms coming on, looking quite fabulous.

Lots of veggies are spread out under the new shade structure.  Been a long week but looking forward to a spectacular weekend if only the rain will hold off as well as the wind.

Yesterday was quite the wind event. So, hold on to your hats and come out for a visit.

A new shipment of perennials arrived this morning.  All new and different from our current stock of perennials.  We have over 100 types of perennials.

New shopping wagons arrived and are assembled.  Had to inflate the tires last nite and install the tires on each of the wagons.

We are definitely ready for the rain to subside.  Hope everyone has a Happy Mother’s Day!!

Passage Creek is flowing well this morning.  The creek is near our house and flows into the North Fork of the Shenandoah.  The waterfalls in the George Washington National Forest are racing off the mountain.  Earth is getting her spring cleansing.

So, with all this rain, we are still up and running getting lots of new plants and tools in weekly.  This past week, I got the handmade tools from Holland.  Plus some really nice, functional hand pruners with a 3 year warranty with them.

The boys are working on the shade structure trying to take advantage of an almost busted day.
